This project included the integration of 2 production lines with over 200 MIG welding robots and material handling robots, designing software for the flexible production of over 15 chassis models continuously.
Software design, commissioning, and optimization of production lines.
Adapted to the automotive industry's production requirements, this project was carried out continuously for over 18 months. It included the development of both automation equipment software and the communication interface between operators and workstations.
During different stages of the project, commissioning and cycle time optimization were carried out to ensure the total delivery of equipment at the final plant in Guanajuato, Mexico.
This project represented a challenge in automation due to product traceability across the entire production line and process reliability per station, with the flexibility to produce all existing models with minimal changeover time.
